We were lucky enough to visit Monkton Barn at the weekend, and we just have to share this hidden gem with you all.

Monkton Barn is in Marlow, and is just a short drive from the High Street there. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from Peter, who runs the barn with his wife Wendy (http://www.wendyaldissportraitsandweddings.co.uk/).

The barn has been available for weddings since January last year and has been a great success since then. Included in the hire of the barn, is also the courtyard area and a 10 acre meadow. This venue gives you the ability to completely create a wedding day that is just the way you want it! There are no suppliers that you must use and you can use the space just as you want it. The light and airy converted barn is the perfect space for your dining and dancing the night away. The open courtyard allows guests to spill outside, whilst they enjoy their drinks on a cool summers evening, But the real bonus to this venue is the meadow. This can simply be used for parking and is plenty to accommodate all of your guests. However if you like, you can set this up for entertainment, activities and even camping!

Whilst the venue does not dictate your suppliers, they are happy to help you and recommend those they know and trust. This venue is very much worth a visit for those of you searching for the perfect setting for a country wedding. Secluded and scenic, Monkton Barn will allow you create an event that is as unique as you are!
